This student is always trying to do better than she did before. I have really enjoyed watching her make huge strides this year academically and personally. She remains positive even when things are difficult for her. She has become a leader in our classroom and I am very proud of her.

March's Leadworthy Character Focus

Courage:

Courage is the ability and strength to face something that may be difficult or challenging.  Courage is not the absence of fear, but rather perseverance in the presence of fear and the willingness to stand up for what is right or to try something new even though it may be uncomfortable or uncertain.
