One School, One Book

Class dismissed

It’s here! The single biggest event of our school year “One School One Book”! We are so excited to be able to take part in “One School One Book” again this year! EVERY student PreK-6th grade received a copy of “Class Dismissed” Monday morning. As a school family we are reading 2-3 chapters a night. Mrs. Bailey kicked it off at our assembly Monday morning by reading chapter 1. This reading initiative encourages families to read together each evening, so we need your help by reading the chapters to your child each night. Below is a reading schedule so you’ll know what chapter we are on. Even though your child has already heard chapter 1, read it to them again so you will be able to enjoy the book with us! You’re never too old to be read to and the pathway to literacy begins at home! Each day we will have trivia questions that if students can answer they will receive a prize! “You’re never too old, too wacky, too wild, to pick up a book and read to a child.”-Dr. Seuss
